Winter menu @ Indian Accent

After winning the “Best Restaurant” award at the Time Out Food Awards earlier this month, this contemporary Indian restaurant has rolled out a new menu for the colder months. Executive chef Manish Mehrotra has crafted the new recipes knitting together global ingredients and techniques with the flavours and traditions of India. Try their warming new range that includes basa fish baked in patra ni masala butter and served with a papad of crispy whitebait fish, or the duck Chettinad served with upma barrels and tomato onion chutney. New winter desserts include mishti doi cannoli and a sticky cake of jaggery and banana served with ginger ice cream and Indian Accent’s own take on Phantom sweet cigarettes.
Manor Hotel, 77 Friends Colony West (2692-5151). Meal for two Rs.5,000.
