• 5th December 2012 - By Indian Accent Restaurant

On their first trip to India in October 2012, Masterchef Australia judges George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan dined at India Accent to savor the highly recommended modern Indian cuisine by Chef Manish Mehrotra. This was their first meal in Delhi and the first restaurant on their personal list of must visit places was Indian Accent.

Post their meal George posted the following on his Twitter account ” A big thank you to chef Manish and the team at Indian accent. The best modem Indian in the world. ”

This was followed by multiple interviews where the Masterchef judges expressed their appreciation for the food at Indian Accent. The Daily Mail, UK quoted that “Gary can’t stop raving about the tamarind-glazed spare ribs at Indian Accent, the fine-dining restaurant in Friends Colony (West)” when asked about their India experience.”

In an interview to NDTV about their gourmet experience in the city, George Columbaris was all praise when he quoted that “Indian Accent is the perfect example of modern Indian cuisine. I was blown away, what a wonderful experience”

We are floored by the wonderful comments by the Australian Masterchefs and look forward to welcoming them again!
